Current Exhibition »All about Anne«
Anne Frank’s picture and name are known all over the world. She is one of the most well-known victims of the Holocaust. This Jewish girl hides from the Nazis during the occupation of the Netherlands. She is discovered two years later. Anne dies in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945. Her diary becomes world-famous after her death.
The exhibition “All About Anne” is presented in memory of Anne Frank. It is an educational centre on the history of National Socialism.
“All about Anne” is
- biographical: Visitors learn about the story of Anne’s life. And they examine what it has in common with their own lives in the present
- interactive: There are many opportunities for visitors to alter the exhibition and add their own contributions.
- inclusive: Everyone should be able to visit and understand this exhibition. It is also accessible to children, teenagers and families.

The exhibition is located near Hackescher Markt. Before the Nazi era, this neighbourhood had been a centre of Jewish life in Berlin.
The exhibition opened in November 2018. It was created by the Anne Frank Zentrum Berlin and the Anne Frank House Amsterdam, with generous support from the Anne Frank Fonds Basel. The complete exhibition imprint can be found here.

The booklet "Discover the exhibition" supports orientation in the modules and informs about important stations.
