Education and innovation
In its intercultural work the Anne Frank Zentrum employs a broad and dynamic concept of culture which does not simply view cultural diversity as a question of national difference.
It is rather about perceiving that every human being is characterized by many things, be it by life in the city or in the country, by life as a man or a woman, by sexual orientation, by religion, by disability, by skin colour and much more. Many of these attributes are often causes for discrimination.
Our aim is to make children, young people and adults aware of every form of social exclusion and thus change prejudiced ways of thinking and behaving. This promotes a togetherness characterised by variety and equality.
